The Coralife Aqualight 48" LED Fixture contains a balanced mix of high-power white, blue, and amber LEDs coupled with state-of-the-art optics including custom lenses and metallic reflectors. As a result, the maximum amount of light energy in the form of PAR (photosynthetically active radiation) is directed into the aquarium where it can be used by corals for growth. In the long run, the Coralife Aqualight LED offers cost savings compared to traditional lighting technology because with LEDs there is no need for expensive replacement lamps, or large chillers used to dissipate heat. Without a chiller and with the more efficient use of electricity by LEDs, your lower electrical bill will also provide added savings.
