The Hamilton Technology Kona Sun 36" Ultra Bright, 27W LED Bar, Blue is a retrofit LED light designed to be attached to the underside of an aquarium canopy. This Kona Sun has twenty-seven 1 watt blue leds.

Features
  • 35.5" long to fit in a 36" canopy. 5/8" tall & 1-1/8" wide.
  • Ultra Bright - 1 Watt Blue LEDs
  • Comes with a 3 amp power supply
  • We recommend using a canopy fan with any Hamilton LED light used in a lighting enclosure. A fan (30 CFM minimum for each light) will prolong the life of your LEDs
  • The Kona Suns are linkable. However, with the provided power supply only one 36" Ultra Bright light can be used. We do not sell higher wattage/amp power supplies or Kona Sun lights without the power supply at this time.
  • Water resistant
  • Light has metal tabs for attaching screws, but no screws or other hardware are included
  • Very focused LEDs--will produce shimmering effect
  • As with all LEDs, they use less electricity to produce the same amount of effective light as T5, metal halide and compact fluorescent lights. LED lights will produce less heat & create less nuisance algae than competing technologies, and the "bulbs" do not need to be changed.
