Measured in parts per million and parts per billion, trace elements are easy to overlook. But, without these vital trace elements sea life as we know it would vanish. Inland Seas Marine And Reef Products are formulated to provide trace elements, and other supplements, required for the healthy growth and maintenance of invertebrates in captive marine systems. Hard corals, soft corals, coralline algae, macro algae and other invertebrates benefit from adding these products to their environment.

Replenishing trace elements is a major requirement for long term success in maintaining and propagating corals in captive marine systems. Inland Seas has formulated a one step trace element and vitamin supplement called Biotrace to replenish the trace elements and vitamins depleted by filtration, and natural processes in captive marine systems. We suggest that in conjunction with Biotrace One Step Trace Element/Vitamin Supplement, Inland Seas Kalkwasser Mix Calcium Supplement and Marine and Reef Buffer should be used to maintain a calcium level of 400ppm, and an alkalinity level of 3.2 meq/L(9dKH).
