The Reef Insane Retro-Mood RGB Controller with Remote works with all Reef Insane Retro-Mood LED Lights. The Reef Insane Retro-Mood LED Light Strip WILL NOT work without the Reef Insane Retro-Mood RGB Controller with Remote.
The Controller comes with a wireless RF remote control that allows you to remotely change your aquarium's mood. The lighting effects can be dimmed, the speed of the change between the lighting effects can be changed and you can pause at any time to hold a certain color. The controller operates in five different modes for a variety of stunning effects.
Controller Modes:
Mode 1=Dimming effect where the colors come up slowly
Mode 2=Leaning color fade. Colors slowly fade into the next color
Mode 3=Full color fade
Mode 4=Red, green, white jumping. Blinks from one color to the next. There is no fade.
Mode 5=Rotates between M2, M3, & M4

The Reef Insane 22" Retro-Mood LED Light Strip with Transformer is a Color Changing LED Strip that can create hundreds of colors with the use of the Retro-Mood RGB Controller with Remote (purchased separately). This LED Strip will scroll through hundreds of color combinations at a speed of your choice. Settings can be controlled directly with the Controller or with the Remote. NOTE: The Reef Insane 22" Retro-Mood LED Light Strip with Transformer WILL NOT work without the Reef Insane Retro-Mood RGB Controller with Remote.
The Retro-Mood LED Light Strips are easy to install using either the adhesive backing or the included mounting clips. The ultra low voltage of these lights makes them super safe yet gives incredible light output with much less power consumption. They run substantially cooler than your normal aquarium lights so heat build up is never a problem.

The Reef Insane 3-Way LED Splitter can be used with any of the Retro-Mood or Retro-Flex LED Lights to extend three of the Reef Insane LED Lights from a single Retro-Flex or Retro-Mood Light with a transformer. The Lights can also be extended in series. Using the 3-Way LED Splitter keeps the lights parallel.
When using the 3-Way LED Splitter or attaching the light in series you are limited to the following:
- 22" 6 strips per Transformer
- 34" 4 strips per Transformer
- 44" 3 strips per Transformer
