The Tom Aquatics Pro Series Surface Skimmer Overflow Box efficiently skims the surface water of the aquarium, removing dissolved organics and other waste material to the filter where these contaminants and other impurities are broken down.  The only Surface Skimmer that delivers automatic filter stop and start in the event of electrical power loss.  This feature disrupts water flow, preventing aquarium water from draining back to the filter sump thus preventing flooding.

  • Must be used with a return pump and a sump
  • Capable of handling a flow rate of up 900 gph
  • Outflow hose diameter: 1-1/8"
  • Return hose diameter: 3/4"
  • Will mount to tank lips up to 1.75" thick
  • Dimensions: 7.5" x 6.5" x 6" (requires aprox 3" of clearance on the back of the tank)
