The Seachem Tidal 35 Filter Replacement Foam & Polishing Pads should be replaced when they no longer rinse clean or have visible signs of wear.
If your Tidal 35 Filter has become noisier over time, it may be because of the scale and limestone deposits on the impeller. The Inland Seas Cleaning Brush Set is for cleaning the impeller, impeller shaft & impeller well. Keeping your impeller clean will maximize pump performance.
