The AquaEl Fan 2 Plus Internal Filter PhosMax Media Set includes two filter sponges for the AquaEl Mini Pat Internal Filter. AquaEl recommends you replace the sponge every four weeks.

This PhosMax version should be used when you have high levels of phosphate in your water. High levels of phosphate promote the growth of nuisance algae. For normal situations, the AquaEl Mini Pat Internal Filter Standard Media Set is sufficient.
