This Canister Filter Installation Plumbing Kit includes the suction, return, and PVC pipe for 18" tall, 24" tall, and 30" tall Aqueon and Marineland Tanks with overflow boxes. With this Kit, you can seamlessly connect your canister filter to the hidden plumbing at the back of the tank. The suction and return will connect to the Canister Filter inlet/outlet under your Aqueon/Marineland Aquarium.
Specifically, this Kit can be used with the
Marineland Deep Dimension Corner-Flo Black Aquariums and
Aqueon Reef-Ready Aquariums. As for the canister filter you use, this Kit will work seamlessly with the
Fluval 07 Series Canister Filters, as those filters have 3/4" hoses. If you are using the
Nu-Clear Canister Filter, we recommend purchasing a
Nu-Clear Filter Basic Plumbing Package as well. The
OASE BioMaster,
Fluval FX, and other canister filters will also work well, but you will need to switch out the 3/4" hose barb fitting. The FX uses 1" hose, and the OASE uses 5/8" (16/22 mm) hose. NOTE: You will want to use
Hose Clamps. They are not included.
The Return has a 30" PVC pipe. This is long enough for the 30" tall tanks. For shorter tanks, you will need to cut down the pipe.
