This Iwaki MD-100RLT Pump, Vibration Pad & Citric Acid Package includes three items: the Iwaki MD-100RLT Pump, E.V.A. Anti Vibration Pad & Citric Acid. The Citric Acid is for creating a solution for cleaning the pump. Iwaki Pumps are expensive, and you'll want to keep them clean to insure longevity (they can last 20 years if treated well).

Although the Iwaki MD-100RLT Pump is a very quiet pump, it is also a very powerful pump and not silent. The 6" x 6" x 7/8" Vibration Pad will greatly reduce pump noise caused by vibration.

The Iwaki RLT type aquarium pumps handle back pressure better than RLXT pumps and can be used for almost any application. They are recommended for high-head situations or when using cartridge (pressure) filters. The MD pumps have Japanese motors.

Just create a liquid solution with the Inland Seas Citric Acid, and after a quick soak, deposits will start to dissolve, requiring minimal effort for complete removal.
