- Two Little Fishies C-Balance replenishes calcium and carbonate alkalinity with the correct ratio of major and minor ions, including magnesium and strontium.
- C-Balance also contains important trace elements, but since these are depleted by the marine life and filtration, it is important to replenish trace elements with supplement like Two Little Fishies Sea Elements.
- C-Balance replenishes salts lost via protein skimming, but if the dosage exceeds salt loss, the specific gravity of the water will increase. This is easily countered by removing some water and replacing it with pure freshwater.
- C-Balance can be used as an alternative to kalkwasser or as a supplement to it. Two Little Fishies recommends kalkwasser for evaporation top-off because if its ability to precipitate phosphate.
Directions for use:
Using the measuring caps provided, add equal amounts of parts A & B to the aquarium, separately. Do not mix A & B together or mix with other supplements. The dosage is based on alkalinity, which should be maintained between 2.5 and 3.5 meq/L. Monitor with a reliable test kit.
