The new Red Sea Reefer G2 Aquarium ReefGate Valve Upgrade Kit 32mm is a high-precision gate valve designed specifically for ensuring a quiet, stable down flow in your Reefer system. It allows incremental, smooth adjustments to easily balance the water flowing down with the water that is being pumped up, keeping a constant water level in your down flow box.
The ReefGate differs from standard gate valves in that it uses all plastic Reef-Safe parts.More importantly, each rotation of the ergonomic hand wheel opens/closes the valve by only 1mm providing the small incremental adjustment needed for balancing the flows in an aquarium.
This kit is intended for retrofitting reefer G2 systems to the new upgraded ReefGate Valve that come on all G3 Reefer tanks.
