It gave us great pleasure to see all the pictures of beautiful Coralife BioCubes that were sent in. It really has given us a greater sense of what is possible with the BioCube. We gave two awards ($100 gift certificates) for the REEF AQUARIUM category. The first tank, created by Justin Mikula, shows what you can do with a Kessil Light upgrade. The second tank, created by Craig Nichilas, shows the types of corals that can be grown with just the stock BioCube light.

Thank you so much Reef Breeders for donating the light. Great lights!! Great company to work with!!

About the Contest:
This was our first Crazy Dave Giveaway Contest and we're pretty happy with the response. We had a total of 256 entries. The contest required entrants to correctly identify either one or both words that were misspelled on the Reef Breeders Photon 24-V2+ 24" LED Light page. The two words we were looking for were temprature and Road (in Rhode Island). We also gave credit for intesity, which was not an intentional misspelling. It was not in the text for the Photon LED Light, but was a link in the sidebar. Credit was also given for a variety of suggestions concerning hyphens and the assertion sit should have been set. We're not exactly certain this is correct, but enough people thought set was correct that we gave credit for it. Correct language is really just a popularity contest, isn't it? Then there were the entries that claimed shipping was spelled shippping somewhere. Where is this? Someone please shoot us an Email and let us know. Please also let us know if you see it on a PC, tablet or phone. Now, we just need to get someone to spell check the rest of the Web site!!!

How did we choose the winner? We put all the valid entries on an Excel Spreadsheet with a number assigned to the entry. We then used a random number generator to pick the winner (see www.random.org/integers/).
